How to Develop Your Intuition?

Dear friend, are you ready to develop your intuition? Are you ready to unlock and use this wonderful gift? How can you tell the difference between your ego and your intuition?

Do you consider yourself to be intuitive? Intuition can be defined as “the capacity of knowing without the use of rational processes.” What often block us from listening to our intuition are questions like these: “what will people say? How will I justify that action? How can I act when it doesn’t make logical sense?”

How do we know whether our egos or our intuition is taking to us? For starters, if you are not in the habit of listening to that quiet inner voice call intuition, you may not hear much guidance. Genuine guidance is recognized in the following ways:
1. The intuitive voice is quiet but persistent. Thoughts keep coming back, but they are not marked by urgency. The ego voice demands that you make a choice now out of fear that something will disappear.
2. Intuitive messages point you in a direction of self-development and a feeling of being more expressed. The ego, by contrast, says, “Why bother?” It’s too much trouble.” “It costs too much.” The ego rationalizes away action and defends the status quo.
3. The intuitive voice uses simple declarative sentences, such as “it’s time to go back to school.” “You need to write.” “Move on.” These statements are specific and useful. The ego keeps rehashing the same old ground and relies heavily on justifying statements.
4. Intuition comes directly and clearly into your mind. The ego voice is indecisive and anxious. It’s concerned with trying to figure out the best way to minimize and control events.
5. The intuitive voice moves you out of your comfort zone, but you know in your heart it is guiding you to the right thing to do. The ego voice loves to tell you horror stories.
6. The intuitive voice gives you one step or goal at a time. The ego sets up contradictory goals or creates a no-win situation.
7. Intuition tells you what to do to be true to yourself. The ego tells you what to do to make things good for others.
Once we become attuned to some of the beliefs and behaviors that keep us stuck, we can begin to walk through our gateways with a greater sense of adventure, trust and enjoyment.
With appreciation and gratitude
